Stake Out for Justice Luncheon NOVEMBER 17TH, 2008 Support your community, support your police!

Join us this fall at the Hilton Riverside for the New Orleans Police and Justice Foundation’s (NOPJF) Stake Out for Justice fundraising luncheon. Fred Sawyers, General Manager of the Hilton Riverside Hotel will receive the Chief’s Award and John Wieland, CEO of John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods will receive the Corporate Responsibility Award.  A special keynote speaker will be announced late summer.

Stake out for Justice is the Foundation’s preeminent fundraising event.  Prominent leaders of business & industry, government officials, and members of the New Orleans Police Force come together to celebrate the accomplishments of the Foundation and to honor selected police officers.  

This year’s luncheon honorees have taken the lead in advancing the Foundation’s mission to support our police officers. For the past 10 years, the Hilton Riverside has donated significant funding for programs to bolster police education and advancement. Post Katrina, John Wieland donated nearly one million dollars toward our housing initiative to provide mortgage assistance to more than 450 first responders. Together their contributions have enhanced the lives of our police officers and our community.

Stake Out for Justice is also widely supported by the community. This year’s presenting sponsor is Shell Oil Company who contributed $100,000 toward the luncheon.  We look forward to your joining us this fall.   Together we can make New Orleans a safe city to work, to live and to visit.

Tickets are $150.00 each.
